The Whispering Cottage

I wont spoil much because the experience at The Whispering Cottage is truly an amazing experience so its important you see the episode and especially go to the location yourself to experience what is there. From San Antonio it was a four hour drive so we couldn't wait to arrive in Mineral Wells and begin our investigation. I rarely stray away from San Antonio and Austin so it was a nice treat to see the beauty of Texas as we go to this haunted location. When we arrived in Mineral Wells and parked next to the house we were greeted with open arms and shown around and told the history of the house. Overall a little girl attempted to create a Ouija board and brought something she shouldn't have to the house. After that a lot of things happened in the house and a lot of the residents that tried staying in the house couldn't do it.

Alice resides on the second floor of the cottage and she has a red ball by her side. There is some form of spirit that resides within her that just wants to be in peace. During an EVP session with my ghost box we call to Alice and we hear someone say "F*&#$ you!" followed by Jeremiah telling me if I heard it and then right after another entity saying "Yeah!". After asking if Alice was here with us we hear her name twice by different voices. Very exciting and just a wonderful feeling to capture such strong evidence on camera.

As we continued the session upstairs and Jeremiah kept provoking the entity in the next room of Alice The Doll, I begin to sweat large amounts of oil which I normally don't do. It was very strange because I wasn't even hot. I did however feel very sick, like I ate something bad. Once we all decided to take a break and went outside I felt better and stopped sweating. After our break we went back inside to the Occult room and that's where we decided to use the room with the mirrors facing each other in complete darkness.

As much as I hate to admit it. I could not do the isolated roomwith mirrors facing each other for very long. During our talk on who is going to go first we used the Ovilius just to see what the spirits had to say. The main things they said was "Oracle" and "feeling", as we discussed how frighten we were about being in there alone. The way to use the room is to sit down in the middle and have a small candle between your feet and the illumination from the candle will light up only your face. After you have everything set up you begin to stare directly into your own eyes and you soon begin to see unique things. In Jeremiahs interview he explains how distorted his face got and how he saw other people in place of his body and it was a complete peaceful experience. As for me, when those doors closed I saw my mouth grin and i felt hands appear all over me as if I was going to be grabbed from every angle and I could not handle it. I needed to get out of that room.

Overall the experience at The Whispering Cottage was amazing and I would love to go back because I don't believe only one night can cover everything that is there. Investigating takes time and I'd love to uncover the spirits of this house. I still need even more evidence and this is beginning to make me think I am addicted to this. My curiosity of the unknown is just getting stronger with every investigation.
