Hello and welcome to my documentary and thank you for taking the time to read this. In this first post I am going to talk about me and why I chose to do this. My name is Troy Romo and I am born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. Ever since I was little many supernatural things happened to me. One of my oldest memories is playing with my toys while I spoke to this older African American gentleman with overalls wielding a saxophone. My parents would call him my imaginary friend. Nowadays I refer to him as a spirit I was able to see and interact with. As I got older I learned my parents were modern day grave robbers and there was a variety of unusual things like tombstones in my house, also the practice of witchcraft led to a whole array of strange things happening around the house. Mimics were the main presence in the house, I would be sitting down watching TV or doing homework and I would hear my mom call my name and when I would go to the living room I realized everyone had left and I was home alone.

There was always a lady in white that would appear in the hallway and go into the bathroom. It was like she had on a wedding dress. I never felt anything evil with her, she just seemed lost. Other then her I believe there was two demons in my house. Long ago my Dad married his first wife and things ended badly, wrong move on his part since she was into voodoo and cursed him and the house. I remember him telling me that he would find animal parts and blood splattered all over the front yard and the house itself. After cleaning up the mess he went into the restroom and when he looked in the mirror he saw his face melting and he was in a pit of fire. It was one of the most scariest things he saw.

After that he became heavily influenced by drugs and alcohol and really lost his way. Few years later once he meant my mom they did the Ouija board a lot and with that they summoned something they shouldn't have. From what my mom told me, she put me down and then I flew across the room and was slammed under a chair. My Dad grabbed the Ouija board and was trying to shake and break it but it was indestructible. He told everyone to get out and they got a hotel while he stayed. My mom attempted to call the church but they wouldn't help. Days go by and then he says everything is okay and my mom and brother come back to the house. As I reflect I remember there being this cloud over the area, I suspect my dad did something to calm down whatever was there but for a price. That's the first demon.

The second one i suspect was a pig like creature, I would always hear a pig and smell like mud and decay. When my parents separated and I moved into a different house. I remember laying down in my new room on the floor and I would hear scratch marks and pigs, then a very loud howl. Once I actually moved out on my own and got my own place the hauntings just stopped, and it felt great for the longest time. It even came to a point where I kinda forgot about anything paranormal and just put it in the back of my mind as a kid with a wild fantasy because of a not so good childhood. Sometime in 2018 my girlfriend and I were watching Hulu and then I passed by Ghost Adventures. One of my favorite shows because I just love the personalities. My girlfriend is a skeptic and a part of my brain started to click because now I wanted to prove they were real. We watch a couple of episodes and she laughs and it starts to trigger something even more inside me.

Without any experiences these shows can be silly! It's hard to capture the fear, the energy, the moment, on video or audio recording unless you were there and part of it. This made me want to do a documentary of my own, not just to prove to my lovely girlfriend that ghost exist but to also prove to myself i wasn't crazy. Few months later when we moved into our new apartment I told her I am going to contact the San Antonio Ghost Hunters and do an interview. Then my documentary was born and it has started to become so much more. I wanted to share everyone's view points and experiences in this field and also back up what they're saying with my own small investigations. So far I have been on four different investigations and currently this morning i am headed out to Mineral Wells to investigate the Whispering Cottage for my second episode in my documentary series. I have a long journey and its been a good year of filming. I have so many interviews and experiences I want to share in the upcoming months. I just hope people can see this and feel what I felt in these moments.
